Discworld Technical Info

Here's the Discworld 1.04 Update Patch Disk, which will update any currently released CD-ROM version of Discworld. This patch disk fixes a number of errors in earlier versions, including sound interruptions and graphical abnormalities.

This patch disk will replace several files in your DISCWLD.CD directory on your hard drive. You should install or re-install your current Discworld program as instructed in the manual prior to installation of this patch.

Install the patch disk to your A: or B: floppy drive, change to that drive, and type UPDATE and the letter of the hard drive with Discworld installed on it. For example, if your hard drive is C:, and your floppy disk drive is A:, you would insert the Discworld Patch disk in drive A: and type:

A:

UPDATE C:

The program will then unpack several files onto your hard drive, and your Discworld program will be updated.
